About the project
The aim of the project is to enable students to develop original solutions and ideas while relating them to concepts. The qualities that the students will gain overlap with the abilities that the current business world requires nowadays. Students need to improve these skills in order to adapt to the complex lifestyles of the 21st century. This project has been designed for the purpose of improving our students' acquisition of basic skills. They will be familiar with the key principles and components of Project Based Learning. The methodology is highly practical and participative. We embrace collaborative working methods which foster mutual learning and cooperation among partners. According to the strategic and European developments of the schools, leadership, creating strategies, taking effective decisions, planning, creating an organization culture, positive motivation towards learning, education management, corporation with the stakeholders are the essential elements.
AIMS
Students will:

come forward with their ideas at all stages of development

try learned techniques and expand their new skills

know that mistakes lead to better learning, they will make them to gain their own aims

break down potentially overwhelming projects into manageable tasks

be more confident and aware of their needs to be successful in school and in life.
TEACHERS will:

become effective thinkers by assuming multiple roles and tasks

observe other countries’ administrative and educational methods and techniques, share experience, ideas and suggestions

promote good practices in education, cooperation and combined effective action in order to reach common goals

improve professional development by acquiring new training techniques in an innovative way to introduce key competences in the school curriculum

obtain concrete techniques and methods about 21st century

improve the knowledge/techniques/methods to make the lessons more interesting.
WORK PROCESS
To improve 21st Century skills, the activities will be carried out under the leadership of 5 participating countries. The responsibilities will be distributed in a balanced way.
1. Estonia – 21st skills in general, autonomy in the process of learning, 'Flipped Classroom'
2. Croatia - ICT workshops and seminars for students about Digital citizenship, Digital communication and collaboration, Search and manage digital information, Creating digital content and Digital problem solving, learning and Using Time Lapse Photography Technique.
3. Turkey - Seminars and workshops for students to improve their Communication and Collaboration skills, how to behave at a job interview, some shared tasks and tips to give powerful speeches and presentations.
4.Italy - The blended learning environment, showing students how the scientific method can be applied to everyday life.
5.Slovenia - By staying in natural environment children will practice cooperation, solve problems and assimilate new skills.
EXPECTED RESULTS
The project will also reach its objectives and results when the target groups (students, teachers, parents, local societies) improve their knowledge about the partner countries, their cultures, traditions, when they experience European attitude in their lives. We will achieve our goals when the target groups gain some specific skills like problem solving, critical thinking and social skills, improving ICT and English abilities, learning by doing and some others we mentioned as results of the project. The following indicators of achievement will show to what extent the project assumptions are reached:

positive opinions found in the activities done among students participating in the Teaching/Learning/Training Activities,

positive reports made after the participant observations conducted during the second year of the project,
-
better marks in lessons reached by participant students,
-
the quality of students' reports written after each meeting.
