During the week in which we celebrate Safer Internet Day, students analyzed their use of digital technology, frequent use of mobile phones and the Internet, and reflected on the reliability of the information they discover when searching the Internet.

Through educational websites and online brochures, they studied content about internet safety, participated in online quizzes and created interactive works for their classmates.

Whenever they are online, students are at risk of inappropriate content, accidental disclosure of their personal information, content downloading, file sharing, spyware, viruses, and cyber harassment. The workshops encouraged them to learn more about online safety.

Every person in the school community has an important role to play in keeping the Internet safe. Cyber security awareness will make for a better and happier schooling experience.

During December 2020, a project was realized in our school with the central cross-curricular theme of Civic Education, which was related to the celebration of International Human Rights Day and UNICEF Day on December 10 and 11. Project activities were implemented in the teaching subjects teacher's class, English, Technical Mechanics and Computing. The students of the 1st grade Department of Mechanical Computer Technician and the teacher Mirjana Pavlović participated in the project (teacher's class, Technical Mechanics), Marina Mirković  (Computer Science) and Kristina Šćiran (English language). The students participated in presentations and workshops on human rights and UNICEF, after which they started working on project tasks.
