During the week in which we celebrate Safer Internet Day, students analyzed their use of digital technology, frequent use of mobile phones and the Internet, and reflected on the reliability of the information they discover when searching the Internet.

Through educational websites and online brochures, they studied content about internet safety, participated in online quizzes and created interactive works for their classmates.

Whenever they are online, students are at risk of inappropriate content, accidental disclosure of their personal information, content downloading, file sharing, spyware, viruses, and cyber harassment. The workshops encouraged them to learn more about online safety.

Every person in the school community has an important role to play in keeping the Internet safe. Cyber security awareness will make for a better and happier schooling experience.
